Mr. Evangelos Sepetis, Psychologist and Psychodynamic Therapist, presented the second lecture of this year’s ‘Psychology for all’, entitled ‘Counselling or Psychotherapy: Participants’ characteristics and motives throughout the process. The event took place on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 at our main campus in Thessaloniki.
Mr. Sepetis discussed the common aim of both counselling and psychotherapy: to make people feel better. He explained that both approaches are addressed to people who want to welcome changes in their lives and experience self-exploration. In his presentation, Mr. Sepetis underpinned that both psychotherapy and counselling are based on participants’ motivation and capabilities and are an invaluable investment for a balanced life through deep self-awareness.
Mr. Sepetis’ presentation was well-attended while many watched the event through the live web stream.
The series will continue in January 2015 with new interesting psychology topics. Stay tuned!
