Alumil known for their commitment to quality and innovation, proved to be an ideal setting for our students to observe the principles of Organisational Behaviour in action during the visit of our Business Administration & Economics Department to the Kilkis Plant of the company.
Second-year students led by Dr Giovanni Oscar Serafini, could appreciate first-hand the Company's Mission to improve people’s quality of life through energy-efficient architectural aluminium systems and their commitment to integrity, team spirit, initiative, dedication, “meraki”, and sustainability. What is more, Alumil Corporate Philosophy resonates deeply with the values we instill in our students, emphasising the importance of ethical conduct, collaboration, and creative engagement in their work.
The visit started with a warm welcome before addressing Health & Safety in the workplace, the importance of EQ in business, and the crucial role of people in organisations. The key highlight was the thorough and enlightening industrial tour, which allowed the students to connect classroom theories with practical industry state-of-the art technologies and practices. We are grateful to Alumil for opening their doors to us with such warm hospitality and for demonstrating the tangible ways in which a company can contribute to the well-being of its community and the environment while fostering innovation and growth.
